About the event

Deep and Dark Web Tools: Intelligence Gathering in Practice

Join us for an insightful online workshop focused on the tools and techniques used for intelligence gathering in the deep and dark web. This workshop aims to equip participants with the skills necessary to navigate these less accessible areas of the internet safely and effectively.

What participants will learn:

  1. Differences between the surface web, deep web, and dark web, including their structures, access methods, and legitimate vs. illicit use cases.

  2. How information is indexed, hidden, or anonymised across different layers of the web and the implications for intelligence gathering.

3.    Identify and utilise key open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools for collecting data from the surface and deep web.
