Code of Conduct Policy
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to establish professional, ethical, and inclusive standards for all members, volunteers, employees, and representatives of the International Association of Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Professionals (IACAP). This policy ensures that every individual is treated with dignity, respect, and fairness, with particular attention to promoting women’s rights, gender equality, and equal opportunities within the cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors.

This policy applies to:

3. Core Values
IACAP is committed to the following core values:

4. Behavioural Expectations
4.1 Respectful Conduct
All individuals must:

Value diverse perspectives and experiences, especially those of underrepresented groups.
4.2 Anti-Harassment and Zero Tolerance
IACAP maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for:

Offensive or degrading language or behaviour

Unwanted physical contact or sexual advances

Online harassment, stalking, or abusive messages
Any breach will result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal of membership.

4.5 Ethical Use of Cybersecurity & AI
All participants must:

Promote responsible and lawful use of cybersecurity tools and AI technologies.

Not engage in hacking, misuse of data, harmful AI practices, or any unethical digital activity.

Encourage transparency, fairness, and accountability in technological development.
5. Reporting Misconduct
Anyone who experiences or witnesses breaches of this Code of Conduct should report them promptly through:

The IACAP Designated Safeguarding/Compliance Officer

Confidential online reporting channels

Written report to authorised management personnel
All reports will be treated seriously, confidentially, and without retaliation.
6. Disciplinary Actions
Violations of this Code may result in one or more of the following:

Verbal or written warning

Removal from an event or activity

Suspension or revocation of membership

Termination of volunteer or staff roles

Referral to legal authorities, where applicable
7. Responsibilities of Leadership
IACAP leadership commits to:
